Incorporate music technology into performance

Assessment tool

Version 1.0
Issue Date: May 2024

Musicians and artists, such as DJs and other electronic music artists, use technology as an integral part of their performance. They need to develop techniques for using technology to enhance performance and maintain and update knowledge of advances in technology. Some musical experience is required to undertake this unit.

This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to perform and record music using technology-based equipment.

No licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of endorsement.

You may want to include more information here about the target group and the purpose of the assessments (eg formative, summative, recognition)

Employability Skills

This unit contains employability skills.
